Queen Thorn is an adult female SandWing and current queen of her tribe. She is the mother of Sunny.

Thorn is wiry and compact. She has sandy yellow scales dappled with small brown speckles down her back and along her wings.^[1] She wears a gold bracelet on her upper forearm which consists of a chain of flying dragons made from twisted wires. Around her neck hangs a copper chain with a moonstone pendant.^[2]
