The War of SandWing Succession was a war that began between Blaze, Blister, and Burn following the death of Queen Oasis. Each of the three sisters wanted to become the queen of the SandWings, and each enlisted the help of other Pyrrhian tribes in the war effort.

Queen Oasis was killed by Stone as she attempted to defend the SandWing treasure from raiding scavengers. Afterwards, her daughters formed alliances with the other tribes, each attempting to take the throne. Burn allied with the SkyWings and MudWings, Blister allied with the SeaWings, and Blaze allied with the IceWings and most of the Sandwings. The MudWings were initially allied with Blister. The NightWings were originally neutral before joining Blister's side. The RainWings were not involved with the war.
