Moonwatcher, preferring the nickname "Moon" is a female NightWing dragonet and the main protagonist of Moon Rising. She currently attends Jade Mountain Academy as a student in the Jade Winglet. She is the first NightWing in centuries to have telepathy and foresight, as she hatched in the rainforest under two full moons. Moon is the daughter of Secretkeeper and Morrowseer.

Description[edit | edit source]

Moon has cool,^[1] shiny,^[2] gleaming,^[3] purplish-black scales with green undertones. She has a silver teardrop scale behind each eye, indicating her mind reading ability. Her teardrop scales are bigger and sparklier than Fatespeaker's.^[4] She looks healthier than most of the other NightWings^[3] and has strong muscles.^[1] She also has the foresight ability.

Moon was raised by Secretkeeper in the rainforest, away from the rest of her tribe. She became a student at Jade Mountain Academy after the War of SandWing Succession ended.
