MudWings are one of the seven dragon tribes living on Pyrrhia. The MudWings inhabit the Mud Kingdom, an area with vast swamps and marshes which is located in eastern and central Pyrrhia, north of the Rainforest Kingdom. The tribe is currently ruled by Queen Moorhen.[1] During the War of SandWing Succession, the tribe was initially allied with Blister and the SeaWings, but after Commander Tempest was assassinated by Deathbringer, they became allied to Burn and the SkyWings. MudWings are often characterized by their physical strength and broad, flat snouts.

MudWing scales range from shades of brown or amber.[2][3] Their underscales are typically lighter in color than their main scales, typically being shades of amber or gold.[4] Their dorsal scales are normally brown, amber, or hazel,[citation needed] and their irises are shades of brown, amber, or hazel.[4]
