The Dragonet Prophecy is the first arc in the Wings of Fire series. It consists of books one through five and centers around The Dragonet Prophecy. It is succeeded by The Jade Mountain Prophecy.

The arc focuses on the Dragonets of Destiny and their quest to end the War of SandWing Succession as foretold by the prophecy.^[1] The arc began with The Dragonet Prophecy in 2012 and ended with The Brightest Night in 2014. The main story takes place around 5,011 A.S.^{[citation needed]} and features Clay, Tsunami, Glory, Starflight, and Sunny as protagonists in The Dragonet Prophecy, The Lost Heir, The Hidden Kingdom, The Dark Secret, and The Brightest Night, respectively.
