Vermilion is an adult male SkyWing and the oldest son of Queen Scarlet,[1] as well as brother to Queen Ruby and Hawk, and uncle to Cliff.

During the War of SandWing Succession, Vermillion argued for the prosecution at Scarlet's trials.[1]
