An Image of a LeafWing

LeafWings are one of the three tribes that live on Pantala. Before the Tree wars, LeafWings lived in the forests of Pantala. After the Tree Wars they fled into The Poison Jungle and split into two factions, the PoisonWings and the SapWings. They now currently live in the LeafSilk Kingdom alongside the SilkWings. Their current queen is Queen Sequoia.[citation needed] During the Tree Wars, LeafWings were almost exterminated by Ex-Queen Wasp and the HiveWings. They are characterized by their leaf-shaped wings and some of them having the ability to speak to plants.

Appearance

LeafWings are most commonly shades of green that range from pale green to almost black. They are also able to have brown scales, but it is less common. LeafWings can also have hints of gold, red, and pink alongside their main scale color, as well as having patterns of other colors on their scales. Their eyes can be green or brown.

LeafWings have a curved, slim body figure, and are slightly shorter than most tribes.

They have flat, semi-plated curved horns, extra elliptical scales dotted across their entire body, and a SeaWing like sail on their back, or webbing. They have round leaf-shaped wings that look almost transparent in the sun, and a leaf shape on the tip of their tail. They also have a small spike on the tip of their snout.

Abilities

LeafWings are able to absorb energy from the sunlight, like RainWings. Some individuals have an ability known as Leafspeak, which allows the dragon to speak to plants, and can also be used to grow them faster than average. Leafspeak is genetic, and if both parents are leafspeakers, then their dragonet will have leafspeak stronger than both of them.

They are known as great caretakers of trees and other plants alike, and use dangerous plants to their advantage. As in when Sundew used bullet ants and poisonous centipedes occasionally to escape desperate situations. These are stored in pouches woven from leaves.

Names

LeafWings are usually named after trees, plants, and flora, however SapWings are named after trees, such as Willow, while PoisonWings are named after aggressive carnivorous plants, as in Sundew, or poisonous plants, such as Belladonna.
