Meta information |
Darkstalker was a male NightWing-IceWing hybrid and one of the point-of-view characters in Darkstalker. He was a major antagonist in arc two. Darkstalker was also the brother of Whiteout.
Description
Darkstalker appeared almost like a pure NightWing, except for a row of silver scales under each wing. He had long, curved horns.
He had midnight-black wings[1].
Darkstalker was born under three full moons, and thus had exceptionally powerful mind reading and prophetic powers. He inherited animus magic from his father, Arctic.
- ↑ Darkstalker, chapter 12, paragraph 82. "She opened her eyes and looked at him. His hopeful face, his emerald-ink-stained claws, his midnight-black wings that were shaking just a little bit."
But is he evil? Everyone knows that Darkstalker is evil, I mean, he killed his own father. But, against popular belief, he did it for good reason. I mean, I have to admit, he could have made better decisions, but because he was raised by his father, he probably didn't know how to make the better choices. The biggest turnoff IMO is that he tried to kill the IceWings, which was prevented later in book 10, the Darkness of dragons. But I think this is the best written maybe-villain i've ever read. This is mainly because of one scene in the Talons of power
