Blue is a male flamesilk SilkWing dragonet and the main protagonist of The Lost Continent. He is the son of Admiral and Burnet, as well as the half brother of Luna and the partner of Cricket.

Description[edit | edit source]

Blue has gemlike azure, bright morpho butterfly blue, and lavender-purple scales, and his body glints with shimmers of aquamarine and violet. He has purple scales across his back, and has quiet lavender scales on his arms. He has azure talons, and a purple snout. His wings are glorious, a bright cerulean blue, shimmering purple and blue like sapphire and violets tumbled together, but before his Metamorphosis, his wingbuds were small and tightly curled, and an iridescent violet, a brighter, more purple shade than his scales. Blue has tiny globes of fire under his wrists, because he is a flamesilk.

Blue is larger than Cricket, and Cricket considers him the most beautiful dragon she had ever met. Blue has his the initials of his biological parents carved into his right palm, forming a triangle. The larger B stands for Blue’s name, and theres a smaller B and A to stand for Burnet and Admiral, his biological mother and father. He is described as a "midget" and "scrawny" by Fritillary.

Before his metamorphosis, Blue lived with Burnet, Silverspot and Luna.

When Luna began her metamorphosis, she was revealed to be a flamesilk, prompting the HiveWing guards to surround her. Blue escaped from the Cocoon with the help of Io. Queen Wasp then mind controlled the HiveWings to capture Blue, but he was rescued by Cricket.
