Chapter description[edit | edit source]
Clearsight is flying into a hurricane, although she notes that she's probably too smart to be doing that. She is tired from all her flying from before. She is looking into the future at all the possible paths in front of her, and contemplating whether she should fly and rest at the beach or head towards The Lost Continent. She wasn't sure before she left Pyrhhia that the place she was looking for was real, but she knew now. She flew straight into the hurricane, looking to save the dragons who she knew would later be her friends. She saw several future of her being brutually murdered, but told herself not to look into that.
She approaches land, and dives for it. When she reaches the land, she gets up and faces the dragons she doesn't know. She sees the dragons and thinks of them as beautiful. One was a LeafWing, and one a BeetleWing. She introduces herself, and the other dragons are shocked at her knowing the old language. The shimmering dragon speaks broken Pyrrhian, and she thinks that she should teach them her language so they can communicate in the future. She does her best to speak to the dragons to warn them about the hurricane, saying it will kill tons of dragons. The yellow dragon tells the others to move inland quickly, and Clearsight gets a vision telling her their tribe names. She saw a wingless dragon and thought of it strangely, but quickly gets a vision where she was killed in the hurricane she saved them from.
The yellow dragon tells Clearsight she is safe now, and thinks about Darkstalker and Fathom. She sees a vision where she marries this dragon, known as Sunstreak. She gets more and more visions, and sees tons of dragonets. She thinks of the dragonets she could have had with Darkstalker, but promised to love the ones she knows are coming. Sunstreak asks her where she comes from, and she answers. He says this home is Pantala. She is happy to know the name of her new home, promising to stay.
