Darkstalker is the first book in the Legends series. It features Darkstalker, Clearsight, and Fathom as its point-of-view characters. It has caught the hearts of many fans, claiming its place as the best Wings of Fire book in the series.
Prologue
Arctic is existing in his room when he hears a knock at his doorway, but who is it? He is too busy imagining his mother (the queen) with chains around her jaws so she can't talk. What a beautiful sight. He completely forgot that the strange dragon was trying to talk to him. Strange. The strange IceWing (Snowflake, his own fiancé what) was making him see the diplomatic NightWings from the Night Kingdom. But he is an Animus and needs to think of his AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL EXTRAORDINARY gift, which was probably going to be chosen by the queen. He meets a NightWing called Foeslayer who is FANTASTICALLY AWESOME and they run away together, and even have dragonets.
Part 1
Since I don't have time to write the entire summary, here are the key points: 
- SeaWing massacre: Albatross goes crazy and kills his entire family except for Fathom and Pearl and Indigo who get away (BTW Indigo isn't in the royal family, she's just with Fathom cause they're besties slayyy)
- Fathom finds out that he's an animus (wow so cool!) 
- Darkstalker is hatched with his sister Whiteout
- Clearsight wants to know every single possible future before she goes to school and meets Darkstalker
- Clearsight goes to school! Hooray for her!
- Clearsight also finds out that her seer abilities are much stronger than other dragons and dragonets
- Indigo kills Albatross
- Darkstalker and Clearsight meet (hooray!)
- Fathom goes to meet Darkstalker (Yay they'll be besties forever!)
