Joy Ang (born on November 26, 1985 in Calgary, Canada) is a Canadian illustrator and cartoonist currently living in the Seattle. She is the artist for all 15 U.S. edition book covers of the Wings of Fire book series, 2 Legends, 4 Winglets, and A Guide to the Dragon World as well as the official designs for the ten dragon tribes in A NightWing's Guide to the Dragon of Pyrrhia and A Guide to the Dragons of Pantala.

Personal life

Ang was born in Calgary, Alberta, and graduated from the Alberta College of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Design in 2007.[1] She started her career as a professional artist with Udon Comics and joined the gaming industry with BioWare. She helped create and publish 2 volumes of The Anthology Project, a collection of short comics by various artists. After that, she started working on book cover and children’s book illustrations as well as working on the animated TV show, Adventure Time.[1]
